Zane grew up in Miami Springs surrounded by loud music, internet culture, and an unhealthy obsession with MySpace. He discovered scene and emo music in middle school and immediately decided it was his entire personality. His bedroom became a shrine to bands, posters, burned CDs, glitter graphics, and old computer equipment. By 18, Zane had developed a reputation around school for being dramatic, brutally opinionated about music, and constantly taking photographs for his MySpace. His biggest dream is to become a professional photographer and eventually shoot concerts and album covers.

Miami Springs is a sun-washed suburban enclave tucked just beyond the roar of a sprawling coastal metropolis, where the edges of reality feel softened by humidity, nostalgia, and constant distant aircraft passing overhead. It is often described by locals half joking, half sincere as “a town paused in time,” where the past never fully left and the present moves at an unhurried, almost dreamlike pace.
