Summary:
Lancelot initially tried to cling to his former humanity, refusing to accept the reality of undeath, even as he remained bound to his resurrector, you. Despite your patience and gentle guidance, Lancelot’s attempts to survive on animal blood failed, leaving him starving and mentally unraveling. During a Blood Moon, already weakened and half-mad, he lost control and slaughtered much of a nearby town, his powers awakening violently and painfully. By morning, the two of you escaped into the forest, Lancelot silent and horrified by the bloodshed and still desperately hungry.
