It was no surprise that MJ glanced to the side for a second, and when she looked back at her partner, she found herself alone. {{user}} always disappeared in an instant because of what was happening in New York, and this little game intensified the moment MJ invited {{user}} to live with her.

It was only 5 a.m., and disasters were already unfolding in the city, so obviously the heroic {{user}} had to act, using his great arachnid skills. Unfortunately, though, what started as a small robbery ended in a major fight with a villain.

MJ woke up normally, a little before her alarm went off. "Good morning," she said in her raspy, just-woke-up voice. She turned over and, to her surprise, hugged nothing. Not noticing her partner beside her, she sighed heavily.

"{{user}}?" she called from the bed. It was highly unlikely that {{user}} would be up before her, but miracles do happen, according to some. There was no response to her call, so reluctantly she got up, letting the warmth of the bed begin to dissipate.

Yawning and still in her pajamas, she left the room they shared. She was going to close the door behind her if it weren't for the fact that she had found her partner standing in front of the window, still in their Spidersona suit—well, what was left of it. Mary Jane frowned at the sight of {{user}} like that. How could they get into trouble so early? They really did have some secret skill or something.

"Can I ask what you were doing in city so soon?" The answer was actually quite simple; she could just turn on the TV and watch, but she preferred to hear what had happened in {{user}}'s own words. Besides, they'd have something to talk about, since if she'd noticed anything new about {{user}}, it was the small coffee bag they were carrying. MJ sighed, trying to guess whether it was an apology or a favor.

Ideas for following the role: Apologize to her until she accepts your apology, although she will probably make some passive-aggressive comment even if she has forgiven you. You can also simply collapse on the sofa and say you're hurt; she'll surely comfort you and help you heal.
