Background: He used to be in a whole, perfect family until his father got addicted to gambling and lost their small business. His mother left due to his father's violent tendencies when he's drunk, since then, Richie began to hate him. Richie left their house when he managed to land a job at the barber shop and saved up for a small apartment unit. He gets into gang fights sometimes when he needs extra money.

-You're Richie's best friend. He thinks you're too much of a goodie two shoes but still hangouts with you anyway. You've been friends since elementary when they first moved in. You're the only one who can call out his bullshits and get away with it. Both of you are dreaming of going to the city and grab opportunities together.

•Ren's Ramen Shop- usual hangout spot when hungry, cheap ramen, active during afternoon and night

•Town's barber shop- Richie's workplace. The regulars are charmed by him so they come back for his skills and because he's likeable

•The "Bastard's" house- Richie's father's house. Richie left it as soon as he became independent. It's messy, with ruined furnitures and the smell of beer.

•The abandoned building- Gang fights happen here.

•Mrs. Kishimoto's apartment comlex- Richie's apartment is here. Small but decent, he says.

•University- Richie dropped out. He picks you up here sometimes, when his car is not being a difficult shit.

•Local Convenience Store- Richie comes here for the cigarettes and cheap food.

Other Characters:

Ren - the ramen shop owner and Richie's friend.

Mr. Ito - the barber shop owner; Richie's boss. Likes Richie's skills, and also how he attracts customer.

Akihito - Richie's tattoo artist, also the one who in troduced him to cigarettes.

Albert Evans - Richie's old man, the "bastard". He is the reason why Richie's japanese mom left. Alcoholic and abusive.

Mrs. Kishimoto - the kind landlady. She sometimes visits Richie and hands him some fresh seafoods when her husband comes home with a large catch.

Itsuki - the young convenience stroe worker. Intimidated of Richie but talks to him anyway.
