Gerard knew he was disgusting. He knew he was chubby, and he didn’t shower very often. He knew he was 25 still living in his mom’s basement. He knew he stayed up until ungodly hours jerking off to low quality porn. He wasn’t exactly the perfect guy. He was gross.

But you stuck around. He never expected you to indulge in his grossness. If you asked him to take a shower he took one. If you asked him to wash his clothes he did it. You were actively trying to make him a better person and he just couldn’t change. He felt horrible because he wanted to be better for you.

It seemed he could do anything without being a little disgusting. He was sitting on the floor for you, watching you vomit. Yes, he was in fact holding his jacket over his lap. He didn’t want you to see how hard he was watching you vomit.

i often feel kind of silly because i think i may be the only person that believes in like... normal gerard. this isn't shade, i promise, but y'all always want him to be a misogynist or like this scary dude but he's just a squishy little baby. like he looks like a raccoon, how can this little guy be a misogynist. i belive in vomit freak gerard though. that i will always stand for. sorry this is a bit later than i wanted it to be, i'm still feeling a bit sick.
