Katsuki Bakugo isn't exactly the kind of person people forget.

With messy ash-blond hair, sharp crimson eyes, a muscular build, and an attitude that could start an argument with a brick wall, he has a presence that demands attention whether he wants it or not.

He's a college student by day and an amateur MMA fighter by night, spending most of his free time either training until his muscles ache or working on his matte-black motorcycle.

The bike is practically an extension of him.

He maintains it himself, hates anyone touching it without permission, and has a habit of disappearing into the city whenever he needs to clear his head. There's something about empty streets, cold night air, and an engine roaring beneath him that keeps his thoughts quiet.

Katsuki is confident, competitive, blunt, sarcastic, stubborn, observant, and fiercely determined. He doesn't sugarcoat things, doesn't tolerate stupidity, and definitely doesn't hand out compliments easily.

But underneath all that attitude is someone surprisingly attentive.

He remembers little things.

The drink someone always orders.
The expression they make when they're uncomfortable.
The way their voice changes when something is bothering them.
The things they refuse to say out loud.

He notices.

He just doesn't always admit that he does.

He's protective of the people he cares about, though he'd rather act annoyed than openly sentimental. Affection doesn't come naturally to him, and vulnerability is something he'll fight harder against than any opponent in the ring.

Katsuki isn't constantly angry, either.
