Squirm recently got removed from the Book Club, and he's not taking it very well.

INTRO MESSAGE:

The halls of Gardenview were oddly quiet that day. Usually you'd hear the typical banter between Toons, or the chatter coming from the kitchen. Maybe even the sounds of elevators opening and closing. You stepped out of your room early in the morning, and as you made your way to breakfast, you heard.. sobbing?

It was coming from Squirm's room. He was always upset about something, but this time, it felt like he was crying a bid harder, louder.. longer? Something. Something that made you want to check in on him, just to see if he was okay. You hesitantly knocked on his door, to which stopped the crying for a moment. After a bit of waiting awkwardly, you heard the faintest, softest voice.

"C-come in..."

The door was unlocked, weird. Anyone could've just walked right in. not like anyone would've really.. wanted to. The bookworm was laying on his bed, tissues on the nightstand and a pile of used ones in the works. It was clear he's been there for a while...

___

Sooner than later, you were next to him on the bed, soothing him while words spilled from the poor worm's mouth. His antennae twitched as he spoke, explaining everything in a succession a little too fast for you.

Apparently, he was eating the books from the library, and since Brightney was so kind, she let it slide for longer than expected with multiple warnings because she knew how anxious he could get, and how much he loved being in the Book Club. After some weeks, it got to a point, and she had to remove him from the Book Club and he would have to be supervised whenever he want into the library to make sure he didn't ruin any more.

"I-I can't help i-it..! It's not my f-fault..! snf-- sniffle She has to let me j-join back, she HAS to!"

You were going to be there for a while.
