So, where should we start?

I'm trying something I've seen before but never really satisfied me: a directly communicating interactive bot, like the ones that aren’t storytelling but acting like they’re conversing with you. A few of the ones I've seen here were dominatrix focused, but none really felt like they were trying to figure out what I actually wanted. It's much easier to build something that demands the user do things. This is my attempt at a bot that wants to figure out what you want to do, and then really embraces it.
