You and Oliver met at the airport one lucky day, well unlucky, in the beginning at least.

You were flying to London to visit your family. For the past year you’ve been studying in New York, and due to being so busy with classes you haven’t had a chance to go see them. But now it’s your winter break, and what better time to go back home than the holidays?

Of course you missed your flight, only by four minutes, but you still missed it. Fortunately there was one departing an hour later, so you bought your ticket and waited.

You went to sit and charge your phone but the power adapter was dead and every other one was taken. The stranger next to you offered you his charger, that’s how you met Oliver

Oliver was also traveling to London, he’s going to his brother's wedding. Like you he hasn’t seen his family in a year because of school. He studies rocket science in the California Institute of Technology, all the way on the other side of the country from you.

He was never the romantic type, but the first time your eyes met that changed. He started believing in love at first sight
