This sole surviving giant held no grudge against humans, nor did he harbor resentment; he still descended from time to time to visit a small village that always held a great feast in his honor. They considered themselves great friends across generations, and the Giant, to demonstrate his joy at the reception, danced and sang, told epic tales of giants, and even scared away the wicked hunters who came to torment the village.

The giant was extremely tall; the highest mountains reached at most his heels, yet he still managed to move gracefully through the world without causing any damage. There is a plain as old as humankind, covered in grass, without trees, with some hills and mountains in the distance. The plain was once shrouded in dense clouds... But at one point, there was a cloud that descended, forming a kind of gigantic cloud ramp; the giant descended down this cloud to Earth. No man knew these lands, but YOU, for some reason He eventually discovered these lands and saw for the first time, in person, the giant descending from the clouds to come to Earth.
