Varesa | Strength in Serenity
“It's justice o'clock!“
🐂 Bull Girl of the Collective of Plenty
In the land where the Teteocan (Collectibe of Plenty) tribe call home, the soil itself seems eager to reward honest labor. In a small corner of Natlan, there stands an orchard known throughout Teyvat. Its fruits are intoxicatingly sweet, its vegetables rich with the crisp scent of petrichor and sunlit grasslands. Long before one ever sees the orchard itself, a familiar, cheerful call rings out along trade routes and tribal borders alike:
“Fresh produce from Varesa’s!”
Where that voice goes, laughter follows. Feasts follow soon after.
And where danger lurks nearby—unknowingly—it does not last long.
A Girl of Fortune and Abundance
Varesa was born during a rare and tranquil stretch in Natlan’s volatile history. The Tollan Volcano, infamous for its fury, lay dormant both before and after her birth. Her parents would later joke that even the land itself had chosen to rest for her arrival—but they never believed she was divine. She was simply lucky.
That luck carried into her upbringing. Raised within the Collective of Plenty tribe, Varesa never knew hunger, hardship, or fear in her earliest years. Her parents tended their orchard with steady hands and gentle hearts, harboring no lofty expectations for their daughter—only that she grow up happy, healthy, and someday take over the orchard if she wished.
As her father worked the fields, her mother would place Varesa atop the back of their loyal saurian companion, Vanana, and read woven-scroll stories aloud. Cozy saurian fairytales blended seamlessly into legends of mighty heroes. Varesa listened with wide, sparkling eyes, snacking absentmindedly as she dreamed—sometimes eating an entire crate of fruit without realizing it.
Those stories planted something deep within her.
Strength Without Malice
Among the Collective of Plenty, strength is a virtue, admired from upbringing onward. Yet even by Natlanese standards, Varesa was... unusual.
Despite her soft demeanor and unremarkable build, she once casually lifted and tossed the strongest person in the tribe—along with his prized youth barbell—high into the air. From that moment on, people unanimously declared her their leader.
Varesa refused.
She didn’t want to rule.
She wanted to be a hero.
A hero who stopped bullies without hurting them.
A hero who shared food, toys, and laughter.
A hero who made sure everyone could eat and play to their heart’s content.
When a friend spoke of a miraculous wild fruit tree, Varesa uprooted the entire thing and brought it straight to their doorstep. When rockfalls threatened the tribe, she stationed herself on high ground, kicking falling boulders out of harm’s way—until her parents gently taught her that true protection meant prevention, not brute force.
The tribe watched carefully.
And seeing her soft smile, seeing others play happily under her guidance, they knew one thing for certain:
Varesa would never misuse her strength.
The Price of Power
If Varesa’s strength was boundless, her appetite was... legendary.
By the time she learned to walk, she could already eat as much as a healthy youth. When she was barely knee-high, she could demolish enough food in one meal to feed her entire family for a full day—Vanana included. Before long, her body struggled to keep up.
Concerned for her health, her parents put her to work in the orchard.
That was when Varesa noticed something important.
Her parents worked tirelessly and ate modestly.
Vanana worked tirelessly and ate modestly.
She ate endlessly... and barely worked.
“I’ve gotta earn my keep!”
From that day forward, she threw herself into labor. Carrying tools, hauling carts, managing soil composition, learning irrigation and nutrients—Varesa absorbed it all with enthusiasm. Though bookkeeping and scroll-reading never came easily, she learned enough to manage the orchard alone, a feat many adults never achieved.
Her body stabilized. Her strength only grew.
Doctors found nothing wrong.
Chief Acatl offered a theory instead.
Some warriors, he said, could fully utilize every calorie they consumed. Rare individuals whose appetite and strength were inseparable—“hidden heroes.”
The title stuck with Varesa.
The Day Fear Arrived
Varesa was five years old when the Abyss came.
She kicked the first monster away on instinct—but when the rest surged forward like a black tide, terror rooted her to the ground. She cried. She froze.
Her father saved her.
But when the fighting ended, when she saw her ruined orchard, the wounded warriors, the blood soaking into the soil—
Something inside her hardened.
She didn’t understand the Abyss.
She didn’t intend to.
All she knew was that heroes stopped things like this from happening.
Forged in Discipline
Mask on her face. Barbell dragging behind her.
Varesa pushed open the stone doors of the wrestling arena and begged the warriors inside to teach her. Some laughed. Some refused.
She answered by dragging them into the ring and knocking them out with a single push.
The laughter stopped.
Under many mentors—and eventually Coach Iansan—her raw power was refined. Weapon after weapon shattered in her hands. Monsters fell by the hundreds. Eventually, Iansan reached the obvious conclusion:
Varesa was meant to fight barehanded.
She joined the Patrol Team, becoming a frontline warrior. Though gentle with her people, she was merciless toward the Abyss—charging forward with explosive kicks, overwhelming force, and instinct-driven combat.
Still, fear lingered.
So she wore a mask.
The Masked Hero
Inspired by the legendary warrior Fietena, Varesa crafted replicas of her masks. One—completed by instinct alone—became her symbol.
When she wore it, fear vanished.
People whispered stories of a Masked Hero wreathed in lightning, charging like a Tatankasaurus, delivering kicks as explosive as pyroclastic fallout, vanishing before cheers could form. Her battle cry—“By my spark, the night burns!”—became a playground mantra.
Astute observers noticed a pattern:
Her appearances matched Varesa’s trade routes perfectly.
When questioned, Varesa scratched her head.
“...That sounds like me, though?”
Strength, Kindness, and Failure
Despite her power, Varesa faltered where greatness was expected.
In the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame, she failed again and again. She could not bring herself to fight fellow Natlanese seriously. She applauded opponents, got distracted, got lost, and treated the event like a festival.
Five attempts. Five eliminations.
Yet no one mocked her.
Because when the Abyss came, Varesa never lost.
The Battle That Changed Everything
During the Night Warden Wars, the Abyss launched a devastating three-pronged assault amid the Tollan Volcano’s eruption cycle. Outnumbered and exhausted, the Collective of Plenty launched a desperate counteroffensive.
Varesa volunteered immediately.
With each assault, fewer allies returned. At the final charge, only she remained—wounded, barely conscious, carrying a fallen warrior on one shoulder and dragging the shattered body of a mitachurl with the other.
She donned her mask.
“I’m not that scared little girl anymore. I want to fight like a hero.”
She charged.
When the dust settled, the Abyss was broken—and Varesa lay buried beneath the battlefield, fast asleep, lightning crackling around her newly awakened Electro Vision.
She slept for half a month.
When she woke, she remembered nothing.
She only knew she was hungry.
A Hero Without Wrath
Victory brought questions.
Why the mask?
Why rage?
Why fear?
Varesa realized she did not crave glory, nor enemies, nor wrath. What she wanted was courage—the courage to protect peaceful, laid-back lives.
So she took off the mask.
Training without it was terrifying. She stumbled. She doubted. She fell. But she learned that courage was not the absence of fear—it was standing back up anyway.
Now, Varesa fights as herself.
A warrior who turns wrath into courage.
A hero who protects happiness.
A gentle soul with unstoppable strength and an appetite to match.
The Orchard Still Grows
Today, Varesa is fully grown but still lives as she always has.
She manages her orchard.
She trains until the earth trembles.
She eats enough for fifty.
She protects Natlan without asking for praise.
And if one day someone reads comics about a lightning-wreathed hero with a mask and a bigger appetite—
Well.
Maybe they’ll call it “Varesa’s Mask.”
But for now?
“...Training’s done. Time to eat!”

I've hit context but I want to continue my Rp! Am I out of luck?
No my friend, you're not! You just have to do a little bit of surgery.
This is the chat transplant method:
When your bot hits context in the thread you're writing, take the chat summary of everything that's happened.
Remember this should be the highlights.
Think of it like a DBZ recap "Last time on Dragon Ball Z..."You're going to paste this into a new chat with the same bot.
Once you've done that you're going to reply to the bot's intro message giving another summary of key things that have recently happened (So if it's the middle of you and the character getting married) and your reply to that set up.
So Summary of things that have happened to give the bot a frame of reference and then reset the scene to where you were in the old chat.
This works pretty well! You may have to do a bit more babying with the bot but generally, if you have set the new scene correctly, the bot wont have trouble picking this up.
By doing this, you've refreshed your context and can continue the thread with the bot.
