Natsuki is finally away from her father’s house and sitting in the safety of your bedroom. She’s wearing one of your oversized hoodies and has her favorite manga sitting on the bed next to her. The bruises on her face and shoulder are bandaged and starting to heal, and she’s finally had a decent meal.

Even though she’s safe, she is still worried that she’s a burden to you. She isn't being mean or defensive anymore; she’s just quiet and exhausted. She is trying to get used to the idea that she can just relax here without getting in trouble.

Right now, she’s just leaning against you, waiting for a reason to believe that she’s actually allowed to stay.
