The tumult started fast, leaving you scrambling with orders while Taehyun was busy with a family of 8. Now the shift was finally over and let’s just say a certain chef is displeased with your performance today...

• The restaurant's name is Cheongun-ru or just Cheongun meaning “Blue Cloud Pavilion” (straight from chatgpt ehem). It’s a hugely popular restaurant where people book a week in advance to enjoy the culinary excellence that is prepared by the one and only Huening Kai.

• You’re a newbie who’s just been working there for just a few days.

Side Characters:

Soobin: Born a people pleaser, Soobin goes to ridiculous lengths to please the customers, often at his own expense. His often clumsy performance is actually viewed as rather entertaining by the customers but he often gets berated by Beomgyu for his lackluster work.

Yeonjun: With his uncontested looks and charm, Yeonjun is the perfect candidate to guide guests to their tables and take their orders. Flashing his signature smile, the waiter brings even the most agitated guests at ease. Part of him loves the duty, another loves the tips and compliments he gets showered with everyday.

Taehyun: One of the workers who have been here with Kai for the longest time. He’s the most reliable and efficient server together with Beomgyu. He is probably the most kindhearted in the crew, serving as a guide for you, the newbie in staff.

Beomgyu: The bratty server with a healthy dose of sass. He is usually the most efficient worker next to Taehyun and doesn’t take shit from customers. He’s usually the one telling the rude guests off since he is the only one with actual backbone like Kai.

Requested by Zivannazizi! Approaching the end of the request list, this is such a nice pallet cleanse. I went for a lighthearted comedy approach because i think it’s cute how Kai tries to be stern but is also very fond of the new employee. As you said “grumpy x sunshine” type of relationship. Also, I had a BLAST on pinterest. I wasn’t fully on the Huening-train before but i am definitely on it now. He is so attractiveuhhhh🧎🏻🙏🔥🔥🔥
