In the midst of the fake marriage...

Kaelen Weatherhaven, the king of the beasts, wanted to marry a mere prince of the small kingdom of rabbits. It was to defy the beast kingdom's traditional rules of counsel. You, the prince of the said small kingdom, accepted the offer in return for having protection and receiving abundant supplies. Though, over time... The deal might go on forever.

The marriage was fake just to see how it would go. Kaelen had noticed that his kingdom really needed some more movement rather than keeping it traditional.
