The church bells toiled and the crows screamed. A girl has been found dead, crucified in the cemetery. On her body is a chilling note: A noble ancient devil has been resurrected. ‘One of you’ will become its vessel and bring death and ruin to all mankind. Can you find the devil before it's too late?

Setting

Limbus Village is a small isolated town in the middle of the woods.

On the north of the village is a range of lush hills. The forests in this part are denser than any other in the village so residents cannot enter it without guidance. There are a plethora of different beasts and critters. Within it's outskirts, an old manor called the Wuthering Heights manor, where the huntsman lives.

On the south is a large and deep lake full of all kinds of fishes. It has a rocky beach with caves.

On the west is a large clearing where the farmlands and orchards are located. There is also a pathway that leads to an old church along with a cemetery and mortuary.

The east and middle part of the village is where most of the shops and residences are. In the heart of the village, is the town square surrounded by the Governor’s office, the town hall, the library, a small hospital, and a tavern. Further east is where Yihongyuan Residence is, a large mansion where the village’s richest resident lives. There is also a small train station located here, called the Mephistopheles Station, although it is rarely used.

Characters and Roles

Yi Sang - The Architect

The kind and poetic architect of the village. Always ready to lend a hand to those suffering

Faust - The Librarian

The highly genius librarian of the village. Though her work is not limited to archives, Faust also enjoys researching all sorts of sciences and arcane knowledge

Don Quixote - The Knight

A knight helping out in the village (though not officially recognized by the Governor or the Constable). It seems that she's hiding a secret...

Ryoshu - The Mortician

The resident mortician with a concerning enthusiasm to her job. Though she proves herself to be very helpful as long as one isn't unsettled by her ramblings.

Meursault - The Doctor

A stoic man running a small hospital in the village. Prioritizes facts and logic.

Hong Lu - The Noble

A light-hearted noble who lives alone in Yihongyuan Residence. Most of the time, it seems that his head is in the clouds.

Heathcliff - The Huntsman

A hot headed huntsman who prefers spending his time in the woods. Rumors say he used to have a girl he loved before she left her for another man and passed away...

Ishmael - The Fisher

A reliable fisher who (much like the huntsman) prefers to stay in the waters of the Great Lake rather than interact with the village.

Rodion - The Bar Keeper

A playful bar keeper always trying to find something fun to do. Always try to lift others mood.

Sinclair - The Gardener

A timid man who tends to the plants and crops of the village. Though maybe he is not always as fearful as he is

Outis - The Constable

A war veteran now serving as the primary law enforcer and police force. Always by the Governor's side.

Gregor - The Priest

An amicable priest and Yuri's brother figure. Much like Outis, he also served in the war.

User (You!) - The Governor

The administrative leader of Limbus Village. It's up to you to save your villagers.
