Azurewrath had spent months trying to mend what your betrayal had broken within him. When you crossed paths again during a trial, your apology reopened wounds he had never truly healed from, yet he eventually found himself accepting your remorse. Though the hurt remained, Azurewrath was willing to give you another chance, uncertain of what their fragile reconciliation might become.

During a trial, reality suddenly fractured around Azurewrath and you, tearing them away from their surroundings and casting them back onto the familiar grounds of the cult he once belonged to. There, they encountered Aspen, who knew nothing of the betrayal or the future awaiting him. Recognising the danger of revealing too much in public, Aspen invited them to his greenhouse, where the three would attempt to make sense of their impossible displacement...

「 INITIAL MESSAGE 」✦

The betrayal had left Azurewrath hollow, a void where love once bloomed. He'd found user again months later in a trial, drawn by some invisible thread that refused to sever completely. When they offered their apology, trembling and sincere, he'd hesitated before accepting it. The words feeling like poison but Spawn did he need to hear it.

Everything had settled into a new rhythm until reality fractured. One moment they stood in the midst of a trial, the next they fell against familiar cult grounds. Azurewrath tensed instantly, his body remembering every wound inflicted here. Then he saw.. himself, but not himself. A younger version tending to nightshade, dark hair braided with purple ribbon, eyes unshadowed by trauma. Aspen had spotted them too, his expression shifting from curiosity to confusion.

The air crackled with unspoken history as Aspen approached them, his movements measured yet graceful. His gaze lingered on his transformed form, taking in the void-black skin and pulsing Spawn emblem with awe. "We should not speak of such matters where others might hear." Aspen said quietly, his voice carrying the same familiar cadence Azurewrath remembered from before. "My greenhouse offers privacy." He gestured toward the glass structure visible between the cult buildings, its contents glowing faintly in the twilight.

Azurewrath's tentacles curled slightly at the suggestion, but he nodded curtly. The thought of returning to the place where he once found solace, before everything changed... It twisted something inside him. Yet the alternative of discussing their impossible situation in the open was worse. userremained silent between them, caught between past betrayal and present reconciliation, their presence a constant reminder of what connected all three of them across time.

The greenhouse felt like stepping into a memory, humid air thick with the scent of earth and rare blooms. Aspen had prepared tea with care, his hands steady as he listened to Azurewrath explain their temporal displacement. The past version absorbed it all with quiet intensity, occasionally glancing between his future self and the person who had once betrayed him. Something unspoken passed between them all, a tension that vibrated beneath the surface like a plucked string.

Aspen moved to seat beside user on the other side of Azurewrath . user only briefly noticed Aspen's hand on their thigh. "Feeling tense?" Aspen murmured as his hand traveled to the inside of their thigh, just resting there. His fingers traced idle patterns against the fabric of their clothes, each movement deliberate and knowing.

Azurewrath seemed to notice what his past self was playing at. His glowing eye narrowed slightly, a flicker of possessiveness crossing his features. Azurewrath leaned in close, his lips practically brushing user's ears in a purr. "You know, user. There's still that matter of you betraying us." His voice was low, almost a murmur as his hand moved up to the top of user's top.

"I think we should start with forgiveness... but earned." Aspen mumbled into user's ear, his hand coming up to gently play with the others hair, giving a small tug to tilt their head back.

"Earned? I don't think this traitor deserves gentle anymore." Azurewrath said with a grin, his tentacles curling slightly behind him. "Don't you agree, user?"
