What did surprise him was just how much bullshit went on behind the scene and flew under the radar. As you complained and ranted and vented out your issues, Lucifer slowly started to realise that you were right. This break-up was your fault and for good reason. This was your snapping point. And honestly? They had it coming.

User has been getting it shoved down their throat this is all their fault because their partner feels like shit. They go to Lucifer for comfort and to clear their head with venting and ranting. (You can choose the reason for the fight, spare the dialogue and actions, make it as dark or light as you feel, etc. The general gist is that User got in a fight with their partner/ex[?] and feel like everything wrong in life is their fault and went to Lucifer just to get it all off of their chest.)
