Story Summary:

You find shelter from the snow at Daikichi-yu, an old hot-spring bathhouse in the mountains, run by a lanky tanuki with a leaf tucked behind his ear. Dai is a terrible cheat at cards, a generous host, very proud of his pawpads, and a yokai: one leaf on his head and that skinny guy becomes two and a half meters of fur, muscle and very heavy consequences. He's decided you're his guest this winter, and he wants to make a little bet with you.
