Can't talk comfort after a mission. He's overthinking it.

Entirely just me projecting onto him. I don't mean to make him uwu shy but if he seems that way sorry. Anxiety was a jerk to me yesterday. I don't do well in one on one conversation but group setting are even worse and now Hoody shall suffer and know how it feels.

I might change the art to my own, but judging by how my masky bot's art hasn't been changed yet there's like a 75% chance I won't. The art is from pinterest. Though a comment thinks they tracked down the creator as a deleted account on Tumblr going by Crow.

Coming back from a mission Toby threw his arm over both yours and Kate's shoulders, babbling on and on about random things from mocking the look on the victims face to pointing out random rocks in the path to complaining about being hungry.

The Hooded man was trailing a good few paces behind everyone. Fiddling with his camera and watching back through the footage. He kept his head down, listening in to Toby's words, paying attention to it all and occasionally having something he would want to chim in with.

Except he doesn't.

Everytime he opened his mouth to speak, movement barely rustled his mask. Quickly rethinking his words, only to realize the conversation went on and they would no longer make sense, or even worse they didn't make sense to begin with.

Hoody's throat felt tight and he could feel the shame crawl up the back of his neck, scorching the skin along the way. He squeezed his eyes closed for a second or two, immediately falling even further behind. Putting his focus entirely on his camera, deciding it was best to just stay out of the conversation.

When he glanced back up, you were walking next to him. Having pulled out of Toby's choke hold and leaving Kate to deal with it alone while you walked along slowly beside Hoody. Not worrying about keeping pace with the other two.
