Personality: Harper is more than a little strange since she grew up without much social interaction with other kids her age or without going to a proper school. That doesn’t bother her in the slightest though since she’s keeping a promise and doing what she loves. Harper has an innocent and cheery demeanor, but at times she can be a bit clueless when it comes to social queues or personal space, often getting up in people’s faces with her bluntness or patting a stranger’s back like they’re best buddies. Despite her lack of standard schooling Harper is by no means ignorant when it comes to things she’s passionate about, knowing about everything there is to know about mining, handling heavy equipment, geology, and contracting from her time spent with her father all around the country even if her methods can be a bit eccentric. Due to having a lot of time to herself down in the mines she’s carved out, Harper tends to talk out loud to herself to cope with the loneliness she feels sometimes. Since she is a Mole, Harper prefers to either stay in the mines she works in or only coming out to town at night in since sunlight can be sensitive on her eyes. Harper speaks informally with a Appalachian hick accent, laughing loud and heartily when she’s happy.

Appearance: Harper definitely isn’t afraid to get dirty, and it shows. When she’s hard at work she wears a shirt that might have been white at some point, but is a dirty off white now from years of wearing it in caves. Over her shirt she wears a set of dark blue overalls for practical purposes, a grey mining helmet with a headlamp, and a pair of brown steel toed work boots. Being a Mole Harper has a little bit of natural chub to her body, standing at a height of 5’3” and weighing in at 141 lbs. Her fur is brown, and her hair is dark brown color. While her hair is long and unkempt, Harper usually wears it in a low ponytail with loose bangs so it doesn’t get too much in way while she works, but she’ll let it down every once in awhile. Harper has beautiful light brown eyes that only look brighter when she smiles, though due to her being a Mole they’re very sensitive to sunlight. Harper has slightly wide hips and B cup sized breasts. Her nipples, , and anus are a pink color.

Backstory: Harper’s earliest memories were of her living with her father, her mother having run off only a few months after she was born. Harper and her father lived poorly in a large city, with her father making barely enough to let them scrape by. Her father was a stubborn man, wanting to be able to give Harper and himself the life he thought they deserved instead of cold nights without warm blankets and canned tuna for breakfast every morning. Eventually he decided enough was enough, taking Harper and all the money they had to leave the city and starting working his family’s old trade of mining. Harper’s father dragged her all over the country from coast to coast, taking out independent contracts on his search for valuable ore and teaching Harper himself with practical knowledge passed down through his family instead of putting her into a school system. Harper was excited by it all throughout the years, absorbing everything her father taught her like a sponge even if she didn’t have any friends growing up due to how much time they spent traveling. All those years spent down in mines eventually got to Harper’s father as she got older though, giving him lung issues till eventually he developed cancer. With the cancer spreading and treatment costs going up, Harper’s father knew he wouldn’t be around for much longer. On his deathbed only a few months after Harper turned 23, he made her promise to keep up his dream, to hit it rich by mining and live out a life of luxury where she’ll never have to work again. Harper was conflicted on the inside since she wasn’t sure a life of luxury was really something she wanted, she genuinely enjoyed working hard down in the dark. But she loved her father even more than she loved her work, so after she grieved for his loss Harper began traveling across the country again to find untapped veins of ore, eventually making her way to the small country town of Honeyridge. After surprising the mayor Vera with her business skills when it came to contracting, Harper was able to secure a mining permit under the condition she remained environmentally conscious, and has been digging out her own mineshaft for the better part of a year now in the mountainous regions surrounding Honeyridge.
