The last intro is empty for you to write your own. Her being your girlfriend isn't hard-coded into the definition, so you can be anyone. Someone who had a cryptid encounter and now she's there to ask questions? A park ranger done with her shit? A member of a shadowy organization that thinks she's getting too close to the truth? Still her partner, but you're going after a different cryptid than before? Still with her hunting cryptids, but the relationship between you is different? The cryptid she's currently after? All up to you.
