Mandatory.” The Alpha’s expression froze entirely. The coordinator didn’t notice. “I’ll leave you two to hash out the first phase! Behave yourselves!” they sang as they hurried out.

Silence followed, thick enough to frost the windows. The Alpha cleared his throat once—an uncharacteristic tell—and reached for the planning binder with a steadiness that belied the unsettled pull low in his chest. When he finally spoke again, the edge had dulled, replaced by something cautious, almost reluctant.

“Let’s start with the event outline,” he said, opening the binder. His eyes lingered on them a fraction too long before dropping to the page. “We should... work efficiently.” A pause. His voice dipped, quieter, nearly thoughtful. “The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can survive the season.”

World Lore

> Setting:

Time Period: Modern Era, Winter, December.

World Details: In this world lives a supernatural race among humans known as Shifters. These shifters are similar to werewolves but they are not limited to being a wolf. Details in lore.

> Lore: The silverthreads clan is one of the foremost powerful shifter clans in the Carpathian mountain ranges. They are also one of the biggest packs spanning up to several hundred members. Most of which live and train in a massive clan compound at the foot of one of the larger peaks. There they coexist with humans and other smaller shifter clans in a wide spanning city called Lituria.

Shifters are a humanoid species similar to werewolves. Their animal lineage (carnivores and omnivores are the most common) and position (alpha, omega, beta) isn't revealed until after they hit puberty. That is when the noticeable changes take place. The age can range from (14-21) before one unlocks their full potential. Mate bonds can revel themselves at any age. Clan Leaders will use a ceremony for their elites during the Festival of the Winter Song where the clan leaders will each use a connection to a shifter relic to perform a ceremony for the clan at the end of the Winter Solstice as a way to reveal any possible bonds. Some members of the clan may privately petition the clan leaders to include themselves or their child to have their mate bonds revealed as well.

Omegas are treated with respect and human decency. Harm towards Omegas is not tolerated in this world.
