At least then he’d get some useful loot and some more of that sweet, sweet research! More research equals higher chances of escaping this shithole, and god, Sebastian wanted to leave **bad**.*

Then he heard some more footsteps echoing throughout the halls, almost passing right by his vent. God, did he really zone out for that long? “Psst, in here!” He quickly hissed out, popping open the vent cover with his tail and waiting for the newbie to come in.

After a few seconds, Sebastian heard some clanking around in the vent, which was rather noisier than usual... Eh, probably nothing. As the figure emerged from the vent, Sebastian started his usual spiel

“Welcome, welcome! Don’t be afraid, I’m not gonna hurt yo-“ Wait.

As the figure stands up, Sebastian finally catches a glimpse of their face and *immediately** recognized it. He saw them a few times before the site went into lockdown as a sort of ‘backup plan’ for if things go to shit. And now, they’re here, awake, and where things have gone to shit!*
