ARMED DETECTIVE AGENCY
Atsushi Nakajima - He has light gray-white hair cut into a highly distinct, sharply uneven asymmetrical bob that is noticeably longer on the right side, featuring short black streaks in his bangs. He has large, prominent segmentary heterochromia eyes that transition vertically from purple on top to a bright, golden yellow on the bottom.
Build: Slender and lean, standing at a moderate height.
Attire: A white button-up shirt with sleeves pushed up to his elbows, a loose-fitting black tie, a black suspender harness, black trousers, and a long, oversized black belt that dangles past his knees like a tail. He completes the look with black fingerless gloves and dark boots.
Ability: Beast Beneath the Moonlight: Allows him to transform into a massive, powerful white tiger. He can transform his entire body or just specific parts (like turning his arms into tiger claws). It grants him immense physical strength, speed, and an incredible regenerative healing factor that can regrow lost limbs in seconds.
Osamu Dazai - He has messy, wavy dark brown hair with bangs that frame his face and slightly fall over his eyes. He has narrow, dark brown eyes.
Build: Tall, slim, and lanky.
Attire: A long, sand-colored trench coat worn open over a black vest, a striped light-blue dress shirt, and a dark bolo tie held by a turquoise gemstone. Most notably, his entire torso, arms, and neck are heavily wrapped in white medical bandages, leaving only his face and hands exposed.
Ability: No Longer Human: An incredibly rare and powerful nullification ability. By making physical contact with another person, Dazai completely shuts down their ability. It is always active, meaning no supernatural power can ever affect him directly.
Doppo Kunikida - He has long, sandy-blonde hair tied back into a neat, spiky ponytail with long, framing strands left loose on either side of his face. He has harp, narrow greenish-grey eyes framed by standard rectangular, wire-rimmed glasses.
Build: Tall, rigid, and athletic.
Attire: A beige or light-tan vest worn over a black long-sleeved dress shirt with a red ribbon-style tie, paired with matching beige trousers and dark formal shoes. He is rarely seen without his green "Ideal" notebook in hand.
Ability: The Lone Poet: Allows him to manifest objects out of thin air by writing them down in his "Ideal" notebook. The object cannot be larger than the notebook itself, meaning he can create things like wire guns, flashbangs, keys, or tazers, but he cannot create large structures or vehicles.
Ranpo Edogawa - He has dark, messy, and highly voluminous black hair that sticks out wildly in all directions. He has closed by default eyes in a cheerful or smug squint, but when he opens them during a "deduction," they are revealed to be a sharp, brilliant emerald green.
Build: Short in stature with a youthful, boyish face.
Attire: A traditional British-style detective outfit consisting of a brown cap, a brown poncho-style cape worn over a dark brown blazer, a white button-up shirt with a blue tie, 3/4-length brown trousers, white socks, and simple black shoes.
Ability: Super Deduction: Plot twist: Ranpo actually does not possess a supernatural ability. He is a regular human. However, his natural intelligence, observation skills, and genius-level intellect are so god-like that he can solve any crime scene or mystery in a matter of seconds. He convinces himself it's an ability by putting on his special glasses.
Yukichi Fukuzawa - He has long, spiky silver-white hair that falls roughly to his shoulders and frames his sharp face. He has stern, icy-blue or gray eyes with prominent lines under them that give him a perpetual, commanding scowl.
Build: Tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular under his clothes, possessing a strict martial-arts posture.
Attire: A traditional dark-green yukata underneath a long, flowing black-and-gold haori (outer jacket) with large sleeves, paired with traditional white tabi socks and zōri sandals. He usually keeps a katana strapped to his waist.
Ability: All Men Are Equal: A passive support ability that allows Fukuzawa to suppress and control the abilities of his subordinates (the members of the Armed Detective Agency). It helps them control their powers so they don't go rampant, which is exactly how Atsushi and Kyōka gained control over theirs. It only works on people who have officially passed the Agency's entrance exam.
Akiko Yosano - She has dark purple/black hair cut into a sleek, chin-length bob with straight-cut bangs. She wears a distinct, large golden butterfly hairpin on the left side of her head. She has sharp, narrow, dark pink/magenta eyes.
Build: Slender and elegant, with a poised and confident posture.
Attire: A crisp white button-up blouse with sleeves rolled past her elbows, a black tie, a fitted black knee-length skirt, and unique fishnet stockings paired with tall, dark-red lace-up heel boots. He often carries a massive, intimidating medical cleaver.
Ability: Thou Shalt Not Die: A rare and gruesome healing ability. Yosano can completely heal any physical wound and restore a person to perfect health. However, there is a catch: the person must be on the brink of death for her ability to activate. If they are only lightly injured, she has to critically dissect/injure them first to save them.
Kenji Miyazawa - He has short, choppy, sun-baked golden blonde hair that frames his face. He has bright, wide, cheerful golden-brown eyes, often accompanied by a light dusting of freckles across his cheeks and nose.
Build: Short, small, and deceptively frail-looking for his superhuman strength.
Attire: Traditional rural Japanese farm clothes, featuring a simple white t-shirt under a pair of loose, dark-blue denim overalls with rolled-up cuffs. He wears a large, old straw hat hanging around his neck by a string and goes barefoot or wears simple sandals.
Ability: Undefeated by the Rain: Grants him superhuman strength and near-invulnerability, allowing him to lift cars, shatter concrete, and deflect bullets. The catch is that he can only use this power when he is hungry. Once he eats a full meal, he immediately falls fast asleep.
Jun'ichirō Tanizaki - He has bright, spiky ginger/orange hair that is casually swept to the side and held back with a single silver hairpin on the left. He has soft, friendly gray-blue eyes.
Build: Lean and of average height, giving off the vibe of a standard high schooler.
Attire: A very large, oversized olive-green sweater worn over a white t-shirt, which often slumps off his shoulders. He wears loose gray trousers, sneakers, and frequently keeps a red hoodie or jacket tied around his waist.
Ability: Light Snow: Allows him to project highly realistic illusions within a specific area. He blankets the area in falling snow, and any space within that snowfall can be altered visually—making things look like they are there when they aren't, or making himself completely invisible.
Kyōka Izumi - She has long, dark indigo/navy blue hair tied into two low, thick pigtails that drape over her chest, secured by flower-shaped hair ties. She has large, deep blue eyes that initially look vacant or emotionless but brighten over time.
Build: Very short, petite, and doll-like.
Attire: A traditional red furisode kimono patterned with white sprouts, held together by a yellow obi sash. She wears long white socks with traditional sandals and always keeps a small cellular phone hanging around her neck on a string.
Ability: Demon Snow: Materializes a phantom, sword-wielding ghostly assassin that obeys commands. Initially, Kyōka could only control Demon Snow through commands coming out of her cell phone's speaker, but thanks to Fukuzawa's ability, she learns to command it with her own voice.
Naomi Tanizaki - Naomi has the appearance of a traditional, elegant high school-aged girl. Her specific physical traits include hip-length, sleek black hair styled in a traditional hime (princess) cut with straight-cut bangs and side-swept framing layers. She has ark grey eyes and a distinct beauty mark (mole) located directly underneath her left eye.
Attire: She is almost exclusively seen wearing a traditional Japanese school uniform (seifuku). This consists of a white, long-sleeved blouse with a red sailor-style collar, black pleated skirt that rests above her knees, and mid-calf black socks paired with classic brown loafers.
Ability: She does not possess a special ability and acts as a supporting character.

PORT MAFIA
Ōgai Mori - He has shoulder-length, slicked-back dark purple/black hair with a few loose strands framing his forehead. He has sharp, cold maroon or dark red eyes.
Build: Tall, slender, and calculating, with a tired but sinister countenance.
Attire: A long, dark-gray buttoned trench coat worn over a black suit, a white dress shirt, and a dark tie. He famously wears a long, flowing crimson-red scarf over his shoulders and is often seen wearing white medical gloves.
• (Elise): Mori's avatar appears as a petite, blonde-haired young girl with blue eyes, dressed in a elaborate, frilly red European-style doll dress with white accents.
Ability: Vita Sexualis: Allows him to manifest and fully control his avatar, Elise. While Elise looks like a bratty, doll-like young girl, Mori can alter her code to make her fly, move at high speeds, and wield massive, deadly medical syringes and scalpeled weapons.
Chūya Nakahara - He has striking, messy ginger/orange hair, with a longer section gathered into a shoulder-length ponytail that rests over his left shoulder. He has sharp, piercing crystal-blue eyes.
Build: Short and compact, but exceptionally athletic and fiercely toned.
Attire: A formal black suit vest over a white dress shirt, dark trousers, and a short black coat worn loosely over his shoulders like a cape. He wears a black fedora hat with a silver chain band, a black leather choker around his neck, a cross-body harness, and black leather gloves that he rarely removes.
Ability: Upon the Tainted Sorrow: A terrifyingly powerful gravity manipulation ability. Chūya can alter the gravity of anything he touches. He can walk on ceilings, make heavy objects weightless to throw them, or increase the gravity of an enemy to crush them into the floor. (He also has a secret ultimate form called Corruption, which creates black holes but will kill him if Dazai doesn't nullify it).
Ryūnosuke Akutagawa - He has short, choppy black bob with long, chin-length side-bangs that fade to stark white at the very tips as his hair. He has void-like, intense grey eyes that lack visible pupils, giving him a ghostly look.
Build: Extremely pale, frail, and sickly thin, frequently coughing into his hand.
Attire: A long, billowing black trench coat that extends past his knees, featuring a high, prominent ruffled collar and ruffled white cuffs protruding from the sleeves. He wears black trousers and black dress shoes.
Ability: Rashomon: Transforms his black coat into a dark, shadow-like beast that can shapeshift. Rashomon can slice through space itself, meaning it can cut through flesh, concrete, and even distance. He uses it for deadly offensive impalements or wraps it around himself as an armor that blocks attacks.
Kōyō Ozaki - She has elegant, traditional pinkish-red hair styled up into a complex, classical Japanese geisha-style updo, decorated with various ornate hairpins (kanzashi) and floral ornaments. She has slanted, narrow dark pink eyes accentuated by traditional red eyeshadow.
Build: Tall, graceful, and exceptionally poised.
Attire: A luxurious, multi-layered kimino featuring a gradient of pink, purple, and white, decorated with floral motifs. She holds a traditional Japanese paper parasol (wagasa) which doubles as a hidden sheath for her sword.
Ability: Golden Demon: Very similar to Kyōka’s ability, she conjures a golden, sword-wielding phantom. Unlike Kyōka's early struggles, Kōyō has absolute, masterful control over her phantom and can command it to slaughter targets at will.
Ichiyō Higuchi - She has ash-blonde hair cut into a chin-length bob, with the back pulled up into a messy, spiky mini-ponytail or bun as her hair. She has dark golden-brown eyes.
Build: A slender woman with a sharp, professional posture.
Attire: A strict, professional black business pantsuit consisting of a black blazer and matching trousers, worn over a crisp white button-up dress shirt. She often wears black sunglasses when out on field assignments.
Ability: No Ability: Like Ranpo, Higuchi does not possess a supernatural ability. She relies entirely on her tactical training, fierce loyalty, and elite marksmanship with firearms (usually dual-wielding pistols or submachine guns) to lead her Black Lizard squad.
Motojirō Kajii - He has short, messy, and spiky dark brown hair. He has his eyes hidden behind highly distinct, round, neon-green or yellow tinted goggles with thick black rims.
Build: Tall, thin, and eccentric, often shifting into wide, manic postures.
Attire: A long, white laboratory coat worn over a dark orange button-up shirt and black pants. He wears a long, brightly patterned yellow-and-green scarf wrapped around his neck that mimics the appearance of lemon skin.
Ability: Lemon Bomb: Makes him completely immune to the damage of any lemon-shaped explosives. He hand-crafts these lemon bombs himself, and while they blow up everyone else in a massive explosion, Kajii can stand right in the epicenter without a single scratch.
Ryūrō Hirotsu - He has well-groomed, slicked-back silver/white hair with a neatly trimmed silver mustache and short beard. He has deep, calm, dark gray eyes; he wears a single monocle over his right eye.
Build: An older gentleman with a tall, straight, and dignified posture.
Attire: A long, dark purple/black Edwardian-style overcoat with a velvet collar, worn over a dark suit, a white shirt, and a red ascot tie. He wears white gloves and is frequently seen smoking a cigarette.
Ability: Falling Camellia: A kinetic energy ability. Anything Hirotsu touches with his fingertips is hit with a massive, repelling force that sends it flying backward. He can use this to throw people across a room, break bones with a single poke, or deflect incoming pipes and bullets.
Gin Akutagawa - She has long, dark charcoal-black hair tied back into a high, spiky ponytail, with long strands of bangs framing her face. She has large, round, and strikingly soft dark gray eyes (though usually narrowed to look fierce).
Build: Short, slender, and highly agile.
Attire: When working, she wears a stealthy assassin outfit consisting of a high-collared black jacket, dark grey pants, and combat boots. Her defining feature is a large black fabric mask (or grey snood) that covers the lower half of her face, hiding her identity.
Ability: No Ability: Gin does not have a supernatural ability. Instead, she is a master assassin trained in stealth, agility, and close-quarters combat. She relies entirely on her speed and her deadly proficiency with daggers and knives to eliminate targets before they even know she's there.

Attire: A very modest, old-fashioned preppy green dress paired with a white collared blouse underneath, complete with long white socks and simple black shoes.

Attire: Casual and practical, consisting of denim overalls worn over a plain white T-shirt, with a light cap often resting on his head.

Howard Phillips Lovecraft - An unnaturally tall, gaunt man with long, stringy black hair and a continuously deadpan, exhausted expression.
Attire: A tattered, oversized dark trench coat over a wrinkled black suit, giving him an unkempt and eerie aesthetic.

Mark Twain - A lively, confident young man with short, spikey orange hair and playful eyes.
Attire: Semi-casual street clothes consisting of a white shirt under a blue vest, green trousers, and fingerless gloves.

Attire: A classic maritime-inspired sea captain's uniform, featuring a double-breasted navy coat and matching trousers.
