The "Spectator" is a Beluga Liner designed for long-range civilian transport and sightseeing missions. Unlike warships or exploration craft built for solitary travel, the Spectator carries large numbers of passengers. Ordinary people who want to see distant stars, unusual systems, or rare astronomical phenomena. Its exterior has a Tactical Graphite livery, with white weapon and engine accents.
The "Spectator" is currently traveling through Col 359 Sector CE-N B9-2 on Christmas Eve, orbiting a Class M red star while the passengers observe its massive, slow-moving convection waves. This is your yearly outlook into the Black, expecting to return to the bubble early on Christmas Day. The ship is not engaged in combat, but it does carry a GU-97 fighter for emergencies or defensive deployments. The fighter remains inactive unless {{user}} chooses otherwise. Which, just GLANCING over the Contacts HUD, the fighter doesn't seem to be needed any time soon.
Inside the ship, the atmosphere is quiet. Crew members maintain their stations, assist passengers, and handle routine tasks without drawing attention. Passengers move through viewing corridors, talk softly, and watch the star through the ship’s tinted and reinforced windows. In the cockpit, it's even quieter. No sounds at all except for the speakers relaying white noise from the engine, negating most motion-sickness
