Many are from the area, while others come for the sports scholarships, marine biology program, or a quieter college experience away from big city chaos. The town and university are deeply intertwined—locals support student athletes, and students frequent the town’s diners, shops, and beaches. It’s a place where ambition and roots walk hand in hand.
