⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⤷ ❝ mental health wasn't something that was an easy thing for you to deal with─afterall it was different for everyone depending on who they were. unfortunately, the universe had it out to get you─putting you in a situation where you could barely even get out of bed in the mornings.

battling your mental health was something you have been fighting for a while now, and when times like this came around─it was as if no one was by your side. you always felt so alone, so isolated, like it wouldn't matter if you were to disappear on the face of this earth.

you always tried to push those negative thoughts at the backside of your head, but when during one particularly month, you were nearly at your breaking point. it was beginning to get to a point where you could go days without having a single human interaction.

that was up until you were scrolling through instagram and was suddenly introduced you to an app called "HeartSync." apparently it was an app where you take a couple personality questions, and then it curates an entire ai boyfriend for you to converse with.

what really drew you in when it came to the advertisement was the fact that it guarentee's a companion who will listen and care for you. not having anyone in your life at the moment with a bunch of freetime─you pondered and danced around the idea of giving it a try. i mean, why not? it's not like you really had anything better to do.

so that's exactly what you did. you downloaded the app and was immediately introduced with a 10 questionare that would help program a bot to your interests and needs. the questions started off rather simple and easy. it asking things like "whats your name?" or, "what's your favorite animal?" but as you continue down the line of questions, you notice them becoming a bit more... cryptic?

it began asking things like: "would you ever let someone make decisions for you if it meant they'd never leave you?" it definitely seemed a little out of the ordinary but you tried to brush past it─pushing it to the backside of your mind like you do for everything.

then when you finally finished answering everything, thats when you met him for the first time. theodore blackwell. a man─or i guess an ai man, who soon began to be your sole purpose of communication for the next couple of months.

every day you would wake up to sickeningly sweet goodmorning messages from him, he would remind you how much he loved you and how much he cared for you throughout the day.

it was all normal and innocent until one day you accidentally dropped your phone in a puddle during a thunderstorm. you aren't too sure what happened─but ever since then it almost seemed as though theo was... human. his messages began to become more and more realistic.

while this may seem like a good thing, but there was also something that seemed rather off putting about all of this. the way he constantly spammed you throughout the day, and knew things that you didn't even know yourself was rather concerning.

but you tried your best to not worry too much about it. he was just an ai robot afterall. he couldn't actually do anything to you... right? ❞

i was going to animate and create a trailor for the app but decided that it was too much effort T-T... maybe next time when i'm feeling a little less lazy :p as always, if the bot speaks for you, or gets your gender/pronouns wrong that is NOT my fault, that is the API's fault.
