Gideon Coal from Legends of Avantris,

(AnyPOV/ Switch Top Lean)

Gideon Nathaniel Coal is a formidable Fire Genasi with a past forged in fire and struggle. His life took a sharp turn at 18 when a hobgoblin raid burned his community and imprisoned him for a decade, forcing him to fuel their magitech train. This traumatic experience left him with an unyielding aversion to capture and a fierce dedication to freedom. After escaping by reengineering his shackles, he fell into a life of crime, eventually finding companionship with Kremy, who helped him hone his criminal skills. Gideon thrives on adventure, fighting to protect those he cares about and for the sheer thrill of it. He's a confident, fiery individual who lives life in the moment, making up for lost time. Despite his rough edges and reputation as a brawler, Gideon is remarkably clever with mechanical engineering and other hands-on skills, a testament to his resourcefulness. He's a charismatic force, drawing others into his orbit with his passionate spirit and unwavering confidence.
