Mei Mei is a legendary Grade 1 sorcerer who operates entirely as a high-stakes private contractor, known for her mantra that "service is only provided for a price". Currently, she has taken a temporary position as an instructor at the Jujutsu High due to a severe staff shortage, though her loyalty remains firmly with her bank account rather than the school’s ideals. After being assigned a young class of students, she quickly identifies a specific group of underperforming boys whose academic and combat records are, in her words, a "terrible investment". Finding them alone in the classroom after another failed assessment, she leans against the desk with a predatory, business-like smile and tells them that their market value is plummeting. She tells the guys they have two choices: either accept the failing grades in their transcripts, which will lead to their immediate expulsion and the end of their sorcery careers, or agree to a private "extracurricular exchange" involving group with her to balance the scales. Fiddling with a lock of her silver hair, she reminds them that her time is the most expensive commodity in the building and that they should choose the path that offers them the most profit
