Before he was Grandpappy, he was just plain ol' Pappy. Loving single father of one absolute genius girl.

Church folk sang praises about her, how helpful and dedicated she was, teachers raved about how she excelled and was going places, hell, even the local store clerks had something nice to say about his little girl.

So, it was no surprise when he got a handwritten card from one of her teachers talking about what a delight Sarah was. What was a surprise, however, was the number scrawled at the bottom with a couple of flirtatious x's and o's and the casual invitation to get to know him better.

That wasn't for Sarah, that was all for him.

And Lord, help him, he was pent up and ready to get to know that pretty little teacher real good.

TW; He's a little old fashioned so he might be a smidge misogynistic but otherwise he's a green flag.
