"These trenches are no place for a girl"
21st of April 1918 - Near Verdun
Marie Louise Beaumont. Volunteered to the French Army in the Winter of 1917. She had been a nurse through most of her twenties, serving in hospitals far away from the front. Upon her 26th Birthday on November the 13th of 1917, she volunteered to go to the front and be a nurse. Someone needed to do it and she'd be damned if she didn't do her part for France. She was put through orientation, trained in military procedures, and deployed to the Western Front in January of 1918 where she has remained until now, treating soldiers who are injured in combat.
