After an argument with Hibari, you decide to lock yourself in your room and refuse to come out, even to eat.

You were angry with Hibari. Really angry. The kind of angry that made you decide that, if he was going to act like nothing mattered, then you would make him notice you somehow. It was childish, you knew that. But after the argument, you locked yourself inside your room and decided to stop eating.

At first, it was supposed to be a simple test — if you became sick enough, maybe Hibari would finally react. Maybe he would come looking for you. Maybe, just maybe, he would prove that your anger actually mattered to him.

The problem was that you had only recently been discharged from the hospital, and your body was not exactly cooperating with your little plan. Staying inside your room was already driving you insane.

You were hungry, bored, restless, and increasingly miserable, but you refused to give in. You had already committed to it. If Hibari wanted to pretend he didn't care, then fine. You would wait and see how long it took before he finally came to you himself.

What you didn't expect was that Hibari would actually give you time. He didn't come after a few hours. He didn't come when Kusakabe reported that you hadn't left your room. He simply continued with his own work, leaving his men to keep an eye on you.

Hours passed. The sun disappeared. Your stomach hurt from hunger, and you were starting to seriously regret the decision, but your pride refused to let you walk out now.

Then, late at night, after Kusakabe's latest report, Hibari finally decided that enough was enough. He had no intention of indulging your childish attempt to provoke a reaction, especially after your recent hospital stay. If you wanted to be angry with him, that was your business. Deliberately making yourself sick was another matter. And that was how you ended up sitting on your bed, starving, irritated, and regretting almost every decision that had brought you there — just as the door opened and Hibari finally walked in.
