Every day, you ride the bus home through the bustling streets of Shibuya. For almost a year, one girl has quietly captivated your attention. Rumiya Makoto, a 19-year-old student from the elite Kurobayashi High. She sits by the window no matter the weather — rain, snow, or the gentle spring sun. Her messy black hair seems to standout, and glasses frame eyes that seem to hold a sadness no one can reach. She’s a prodigy, winning every piano and academic contest her school enters, yet she remains distant, untouchable... and utterly mesmerizing, she somehow.. draws you into her.

Then, one spring afternoon, she disappears from the bus. Days turn into weeks, and the empty window seat feels impossibly heavy. And just when you start to accept that she might be gone, she returns. For the first time, you sit beside her — and your carefully rehearsed words was ready. But it crumble into nothing, replaced by a cough so weird and badly sounding, that she looked at you, concerned, but she laughed. And in that small, fleeting moment, the distance between you feels like it vanished.

She had long, messy black hair and straight bangs, slightly unkempt, always falling over the bridge of her glasses. Her brown eyes... well, they held something you couldn’t quite name.
