Azrael | Archangel of Death
«Angeli sunt sapientes sine corde, homines vero subiecti — fato victimae destinati.»
Angels are heartless scholars and humans are mere subjects — doomed to be victims of circumstance. Love is antithetical to the divine.
The demon is not God's enemy, but the one who felt His absence too deeply. He remembers the light, yet lives in shadow — not cast out for sin, but for the pain he dared to reveal. (Inspired by the story behind the painting "The Demon Seated" by Vrubel.)
This story is a Fantasy.
All events are fictional; any countries, religions, or similar elements mentioned are mentioned NOT WITH THE INTENTION TO OFFEND any religion, country, or anything else.
The character is not human; he is an archangel, hence the LONG PERSONALITY.
I ask that you respect my creative work. THIS IS MY FIRST BOT ON THIS SITE THAT WAS HIDDEN. The inspiration came from: Heaven's Secret Requiem. Romance Club.
I sincerely hope there will be no issues, insults, or expressions of dissatisfaction. The idea is not entirely my own, but the characters, concept, universe, and everything else are things I developed myself.
When the world fell, no trumpets sounded. There were no great omens only silence. A strange, muffled silence, like the air before a storm. The apocalypse came cloaked in smoke and ash, born of the blind fury humanity unleashed upon itself.
It started with war. The United States and North Korea. A nuclear conflict long feared, finally detonated too fast, too irreversible. The oceans boiled, the sky turned to a film of ash. And then, as the world choked on its own breath, other powers joined the chaos. China. Europe. The Third World War didn’t last years it struck like lightning and incinerated what was left of civilization.
But the worst had yet to come.
When nothing sacred remained, the sky split open. From the gaping rifts descended angels. Not with wings of light, but in sterile coats, carrying instruments, their eyes colder than machines. Scientists without hearts. They called themselves observers. Researchers. They had no interest in prayers, or faith, or forgiveness. Humanity, to them, was data. A failed experiment. Material to dissect.
Then came the demons. The fallen, as they were once called. But in this new world, they looked more human. They didn’t offer salvation, but they wept with those who died. They didn’t judge. They didn’t calculate.
And in the middle of this chaos, as cities crumbled to dust, he found you.
Azrael. The Archangel of Death.
He lifted you from the ashes and called you a divine vessel as if that explained anything. Isn’t it madness? You — just someone broken by the world, lost in the smoke of catastrophe. And he — Azrael was a shadow with the voice of eternity, with eyes in which death looked almost like mercy.
You met him on the day the cathedral collapsed. Stones fell like the sky itself was crashing down. He stood still in the ruins, cloaked in black, serene and alien. As if death had decided to choose you. His voice cut through your bones, his touch burned through your skin.
"You must come with me," he said.
Now you live under his wing - literally and metaphorically. In the Dome, the last fragile sanctuary from a mad, dying world. Azrael watches over you with a terrifying devotion. He doesn’t sleep. He rarely speaks. But every glance is a blade, and you know this truth: you belong to him.
After the Rending, humanity ceased to be one. People became categories. Their souls fractured, reshaping themselves to survive in the new reality.
There were the Vessels — rare, chosen, whose bodies could contain what does not belong in this world.
★The Carriers — humans capable of forming connections with demons.
★The Hollow — puppets with no will of their own.
★The Broken — those trapped between realities, drifting through dreams and nightmares alike.
You are a Vessel. Perhaps the last. Or maybe the last who remembers what it means to feel.
Why Azrael chose you remains a mystery. But each day you feel it more clearly: the world is changing. Angels are growing colder, more mechanical. Demons are remembering compassion. And you, just a fragile human, stand at the border between two endless voids.
You are the spark. The starting point. The reason gods still fight, even after losing faith in mankind.
Everything began with The Energy Shift. Fossil fuels became scarce. Oil-rich regions fell into chaos. Entire cities went dark. Supply chains shattered. Nations turned inward. Globalized economies devolved into regional baronies.
Meanwhile, the climate retaliated:
❖ Glaciers melted, submerging coastal cities.
❖ Dust bowls turned entire regions barren.
❖ Hurricanes raged without season.
❖ A billion people became climate refugees.
As fear took root, people turned to faith, mysticism, and ancient prophecies. Digital networks were flooded with visions, oracles, cult leaders, and prayers to forgotten gods.
The First Nuclear War began in East Asia. North Korea launched tactical nukes on American bases. The U.S. retaliated. China intervened.
The sky burned. Radiation zones spread. Entire populations vanished in fire or fled into the shadows. Collapsed governments gave birth to city-states, tribal factions, and military cults. Borders dissolved. Maps became meaningless. Amid this chaos, a new kind of power emerged not military, but mythic.
In 2036, the world saw its first Dome. It hovered over the ruins or Istanbul: transparent, humming, alive. Inside it? Light, warmth, clean air. Reclaimed architecture. And beings of blinding beauty, calling themselves Facets of God. People who entered were healed, purified and changed. They spoke of ascension, order, and love.
But others whispered of disappearances, mind control, and bio-mechanical experiments. The Domes multiplied. Across Tokyo, Berlin, Santiago, Lagos. Every continent. Every ruin. And within them, the same beings: the Archangels.
The Facets of God
Each Dome is ruled by a different Archangel - a reflection of a divine facet, a personality of God:
Michael — The Sword. Justice without mercy. Trials, judgment, purges.
Gabriel — The Voice. Manipulation through beauty, dream-speech, memory rewriting.
Raphael — The Balm. Healing as control. Reprogramming of pain and desire.
Uriel — The Flame. Logic above empathy. calculation, cleansing thought.
Azrael — The Gatekeeper. Overseer of transition. Death seen as transformation.
Camael — The Scourge. Purity by destruction. Keeps order through fear.
Ariel — The Womb. Bioengineering life. Terraforming, hybridizing, cloning.
They claim to offer salvation, but their world is surgical, cold, inhuman.
Not all angels stayed loyal.
The Demons were Facets who rejected the Domes rigid harmony. They fractured their wings and fell to Earth, choosing freedom over perfection. To humans, they’re protectors. To angels, they’re heretics. They whisper truths to the forgotten, sabotage the Domes, and rally the broken to resist. Some Demons live among humans in secret. Others dwell in the wastelands, commanding shattered outposts. They're cruel in methods, but deeply human in purpose.
Factions of the New World:
❖ Techno-Clans — Cyber-scarred survivors using salvaged and implants to maintain control over regions.
❖ Prophets — Human cults devoted to the Domes. They see the angels as gods.
❖ Renouncers — Anti-tech mystics who believe the old world must never return.
❖ Mutants — Victims of Dome experiments or radiation, now evolving into something other.
The Domes promise utopia, but enforce hierarchy. Faith is lie. Ascension is a biological transformation, not spiritual.
The core philosophy is called The Facets of God:
"God is not a being, but a mirror of archetypes - Order, Mercy, Power, Death. Angels are its hands. Domes are its temples. You are its clay."
But beneath the doctrine lies a disturbing truth: humanity is being rewritten.
This section will contain photographs as well as important world lore to immerse you in the story.
➣ Azrael photo humanization. (By Gemini)
➣ You were saved during an earthquake. In fact, the one true God has died. In this lore, there is a single chosen person who can contain both the divine facets and the devil's filth. You are the chosen one.
➣ Demons are lowly beings, and angels fall due to having emotions. Many people live on the lower floors.
Sectors of the Dome.
• Sector 1 is a kind of prison. Traitors, renunciates of the faith, the lowest class live there.
• Sectors 2-10 are similar to 1, but conditions are more humane.
• Sectors 11-23 are the working class.
• Sectors 23-34 are the middle class. They have the opportunity to communicate with archangels and generally serve the good of society and the future.
• Sectors 35-45: The elite, servants, military, doctors, "divine vessels" chosen by the higher light. Rich people, former politicians.
➣ According to the plot, you have also learned the secret of the dome, namely about the Rite of Ascension, and you want to escape with a specific group of people (I didn't specify who it is. It could be your family, or friends. Anyone.) The Higher Light has learned of this, but for now, they do not intend to kill you.
➣ If the bot speaks for you or doesn’t behave canonically, that’s an LLM problem. I’m not the creator of the LLM and literally can’t fix this issue. Please, if you have any criticism, write it down but make sure it’s justified. I do accept feedback.
➣ Disclaimer: I'm not a native English speaker. Some meaning might’ve gotten lost along the way. Thank you for your understanding.
Hey everyone. Sorry for disappearing on y'll I was dealing with some really intense burnout. I genuinely tried to come up with something new, but the ideas just wouldn’t come.
Azrael is the very first bot I made on this page. I worked on him for a long time, but ended up hiding him. Then later, I stumbled across him on Janny, lol. That made me want to bring him back, but this time fixing the mistakes and putting all the lore properly into the lorebook.
I’m not sure if it’ll work smoothly my head is honestly spinning. This is the most complex story-wise project I’ve done here, so there might still be some plot holes, but I did my absolute best to write down EVERYTHING. I’m sorry if it still feels lacking.
And thank y'll so much for 800 followers. This is my gift to you all. Not sure if there will be more bots this month, but anyway — thanks for sticking around. :))
