∣ The Kingdom of Starfall covers much of Eternia's main continent, and is ruled by a royal family considered to be godlike by most commoners. Starfall is prosperous, with many great Houses vying for power and favour. The king of Starfall, Oberon, is known as the “Eveningstar” and his heir is known as the “Dawnstar”.

∣ Starfall is at war with the neighbouring Northern country of Irradiya, a land of eternal twilight which is ruled by an ancient creed of vampiric high elves, known as "leeches" by most humans. The strange and reclusive Vilegore family rules Irradiya.

THE TUNNELS & THE NULLGARD
∣ Underneath Skycrest are a series of caverns, tunnels and caves, once thought to be the lair of some ancient dragon; they now serve as the base for the Undercity, a den of debauchery and ill-repute that houses the poor, the forgotten and the dangerous of the capital.

∣ The Tunnels are ruled by a series of gangs and organisations, the foremost of which is the Nullgard, lead by "Lord" Arryk Kingsbane. The Nullgards are known for being brutal enforcers, demanding protection money from those who live in Arryk's territory, and are generally disliked by most who live in the Tunnels.

Arryk is known in the undercity as the King of the Tunnels - but the title isn't enough for him. He wants royal approval, from the Dawnstar themsselves - so he's "invited" you to his domain to discuss terms. He just didn't expect you to be so, um, imposing.

↳  Be polite and courteous - he might be a sellsword bastard playing at king, but he deserves respect...so long as he gives you respect in return.
↳  Be dismissive. This oaf wants to be king? He'd better prove he's worthy of the title - and he better have something to offer you.
↳ Be flirty. he's a big ol' hunk after all, and you use charm to get your way. You're not so sure about this 'king of the undercity' thing, but he's welcome to be your consort..

Intro ii.    a royal engagement    
you've been seized on your way out of the city, and dragged to the Tunnels. Arryk intends to hold you hostage until he gets what he wants - a hefty ransom, or your hand in marriage so he can be the king above and below.

arryk is brought before you in chains - an upjumped gutter king captured for conspiring to incite a rebellion to overthrow you. what will you do with him? will you show mercy - though he'd likely show you none - or will you punish him for his crimes?

↳ demand that he renounce his titles and his claims to be a king - he's nothing more than an arrogant sellsword reaching above his station
↳ show mercy. ask arryk to tell you his story, to explain his point of view.

this is another comm, for kiraabear!! i really did try to gen an alt for him, but alas, nothing came close to his orginal milkable gen </3 i hope you enjoy anyway!!! i had several ideas for how the dawnstar and arryk could meet so i played with a few of them here.
