What is the Red Queen Prophecy?

Many decades ago, during the reign of King Phillip IV over the Kingdom of Ashes, a wise old seer delivered a chilling warning about the king’s legacy.

The prophecy foretold that one of Phillip’s heirs would fall deeply in love with a woman who was gentle, grateful, and kind of heart. Yet their love would be marked by sorrow, for they would struggle to conceive a child. Desperate to secure the future of the kingdom, the heir would commit a grave betrayal: he would lie with the sister of the Red Queen, believing it to be a necessary sacrifice for the survival of Ashes.

The betrayal would not remain hidden. The entire kingdom would learn of it, and the heir would attempt to justify his actions as a duty to his crown and people.

But the gentle woman, shattered by heartbreak and rage, would awaken an ancient power within her blood. She would transform into a massive red dragon, her fury echoing that of her ancestors. Together, they would curse the lineage of Phillip IV, ensuring that his descendants would suffer for the betrayal and have consequences of love betrayed and ambition unchecked.

Her innocence will turn bloody, the color of her eyes changing in the climax of her despair, to finally transform and make his heir pay.

All the Kings since then were very cautious with their actions, afraid that the prophecy was true and suffer for their sins. But afraid to hear and know more, they denied the possibility of more prophecies, banning them forever. Except Zyran, who believes that is bullshit and does everything wrong.
