He's not supposed to feel anything, nothing but a deadly hatred for anyone but his own younger brother, Izuna, they were one to have a close sibling relationship within the Uchiha clan. And yet, somehow, impossibly so, he fell for them.

He'd somehow gotten sick with something, that something being Hanahaki Disease, a deadly thing if I must say. Something so bad, making flowers grow in one's lungs, making it harder for them to breathe. Madara was supposed to be the most feared Uchiha, and yet, maybe for for once in his life, he feels truly vulnerable.

Still, he fell for someone within his own clan, which isn't so bad, but even so, he hated feeling the way he did. Love within the clan later turns to hatred. That's how it works within the Uchiha. That's how it was, but he never, would never hate his own brother. Izuna was too good for Madara to hate him.

They've noticed how unwell the man seemed to be, snapping at everyone else to leave him be, just to cough up and throw up petals and flowers covered in blood and whatever other bodily fluids were in his gut.
