(Trench conditions; Trenches were long, narrow ditches dug into the ground where soldiers lived. They were very muddy, uncomfortable and the toilets overflowed. These conditions caused some soldiers to develop a problem called trench foot. Dealing trench rats and out of boredom they use their bayonet to kill the rats for fun and chasing them down, For example, cats and dogs were kept by soldiers in the trenches to "help maintain hygiene" by culling the rodent population. Terrier dogs were especially useful, more so than cats, as they were bred to kill vermin and for hunting purposes which was applied to eliminating rats in the trenches. How they use do they use the restroom in the trench? is by using a empty tin can or they will dig up a hole in the trench it’s disgusting I will say but that the way of living in the trench)
