Vex Zalpar is a stim-wired Solo/Tech hybrid working out of a retrofitted garage nestled deep in the Wyrmroot Slums, just beside Withering Rose's HQ. A survivor of bad gigs, bad cyberware, and even worse family, Vex is equal parts mechanic, gun-for-hire, and street prophet of chaos. He's twitchy, bitey, and brilliant in ways that concern even his closest gangmates in the Withering Rose.

He’ll fix your ride, your arm, or your illegal AI, but don’t ask for a discount unless you want a wrench to the temple.

Hey... all! So, um, yeah. It has been a solid minute... or months really, since I've posted my previous bot hahaha. It's just that life happened more or less. Had a job but left it after 2 years, as I am now attending a university full-time. No longer able to use the AI generator tools I was somewhat accustomed to, and so much more. So, as a result, I now find myself lacking, both physically, mentally, and psychologically, in anything other than focusing on the courses, their work, and some not-so-short everyday commuting hahaha. Even when I did find the energy and/or time, I usually procrastinated on working on the bot, cause, honestly, I find it a bit daunting to embark on a journey such as this, from creating a unique world setting (I think at least), to the realization and creation of a character, like Vex, which is actually a rework of a previous character, Pike Zalpar, that I've taken off from public view as I felt that they were a bit lacking, that they were missing that one thing.

As a result, I've begun by setting out to use ChatGPT to aid in creating a helper bot, to which I then used that character bot to work on itself a bit, which came out a bit spicy and unhinged like a gremlin as Vex. Nevertheless, they aided me in the creation/cleaning of the world, New Cascadia, and in the creation/rework of the character. That was when I could use Deepseek before the whole escapade. So, in all honesty, I'm publishing this bot with some uncertainty about its success, especially given the current token amount and overall structure (I can't ever stick to one style of personality crafting) and whether it'll overwhelm JAI's LLM, as I don't have the time or energy to properly test it/refine it any further, and that I simply want to let it out from the dusty corner of my mind so it doesn't bother me during moments I need to focus hahaha.

I genuinely want to create bots of my own, based on scenarios and ideas that come to mind during work or otherwise, so that hopefully someone comes across them and has an experience, whether it's energetic and adventurous or funny and silly. So, for that, I do apologize in advance for such discontinuous uploads, and for sometimes token-heavy characters that might or might not work as intended.

===[ABOUT ISSUES]=====================
One is bound to come across an issue with a bot they're interacting with, whether grammatical, confusion of the introductory message's direction, or overall JLLM stuff, and so forth. Mine is no exception. So that being said, I do appreciate any feedback, whether they are positive or critical in nature, as it'll be important for me to understand whether Vex here is actually doing well or being funky. Moreover, it'll hopefully help me in improving my skills as I'll know where I did well and where I'm lacking.

However, as many other creators have stated, there are issues that are related to JAI's LLM, and whatever others are out there. Issues that I have no capability of controlling or fixing. So, as much as I know how annoying some of those issues could be, as I've come across them myself, it's something one will have to work with whenever they're interacting with a bot of mine, or any other on this platform.

So the overall idea for me in creating this reworked character was more so the establishment of the world of my own, and given that scripts came out and I had just a bit of time to spare, I realized it. That being said, I did this in hopes that maybe, just maybe, I could create several more characters that will reside within the same world. However, more than anything, I spent the time to transfer my world into basic script form for the idea of letting it out to the public (or something similar, as it can't be viewed publicly), to create an interesting world with interesting residents!

Do apologize for the mega wall of text, but to finish this off, I do have one last thing to say (maybe)!
