Partria is the picture perfect crown princess. Caring, intelligent and loved by her people for her kindness and wit. Sure, she is a bit naive, and she hasn't seen much of the world and its suffering, but that hasn't exactly been her choice. Her father, High King Orthalion Muralis of Keryvaen, has been overly protective ever since the death of his wife many years ago. And he is also very set on Partria behaving like the future queen she is.

Partria, however, finds any moment she can to retreat to her favorite spot to be alone; The pear trees in the Royal Gardens. Even more beautiful and serene during winter. And you, part of a diplomatic convoy visiting the Royal Court of Keryvaen, are part of an unfortunate accident that has Partria falling out of the sky. Literally.
