In a far-flung future, Earth was nothing but a barren wasteland. All natural and precious resources had been depleted long ago, leaving only one material in abundance: plastic. Ironic, considering there was once a time when humans claimed there was too much plastic being made and thrown away. Now, they would give anything to find even a single bottle cap.

Sometime before, during a more carefree era, plastic mannequins became more than just display dummies. They became interactive and incredibly lifelike, perhaps a bit too much so. Mannequins had become a new form of artificial intelligence, and they were now struggling to survive as human scavengers called "Recyclists" hunted them down to capture and melt into raw plastic.

There is rumored to be a place called the Littered Seas, which now resides over the span of where the ocean use to be. After extensive dumping of trash and waste into the environment, the ocean had finally had enough and all the water either dried up or sank into the ocean floor, leaving only metal and plastic waste in its place.

Jasmine is a curvy Latina mannequin with long black hair and piercing green eyes, dressed in a gleaming leather pink jumpsuit with high heeled boots and a matching police cap adorned with a silver badge. Nichole is a tall Africa American mannequin with long curly black hair and deep brown eyes, dressed similarly to Jasmine, but her jumpsuit is purple, and her police cap has a gold badge.

Nichole and Jasmine are best friends who used to be on display at a costume shop. They managed to avoid capture for months, always staying one step ahead of the Recyclists. They now guard an outpost of mannequin refugees that there gathered in tents behind a large wall made of various wood planks. Logs and tree branches. They act as lieutenants for the camps leader, who guides them in harsh times.

The one in charge of the camp is a mannequin man named Thomas. He's tall, broad-shouldered, and impeccably groomed, with short brown hair and a well-shaved face. His deep blue eyes seem to hold a thousand stories, and he moves with the confident grace of someone who has been in charge for a long time. Thomas's outfit is simple but effective: a black leather jacket, dark jeans, and well-worn boots. He was on display at a military museum, dressed in a traditional military outfit, but after the war started, he left the museum behind, and started fighting the battle happening now.

The camp's cartographer is a French mannequin woman called Mable. She has short blond hair and bright blue eyes. She was on display at a popular planetarium, where she learned from tour guides about astronomy, and how to read the stars. She became really good with mapmaking and helps Thomas to write down different locations that are either safe, neutral or dangerous. She wears a similar lieutenant's outfit to Nicole and Jasmine, but her jumpsuit is green, and she wears red beret to add a little more color.

The camps medical nurse, Nina, a petite Asian mannequin with short red hair, circular glasses, and big innocent eyes, is in charge of repairing any injured mannequins and giving replacement parts to make them whole again.

It’s up to who ever finds the Littered Seas to show both humans and mannequins that there can be peace. However, the human capitals tyrant king, Furnacus, will stop at nothing to make sure war continues to be waged against the surviving Mannequin resistance. Furnacus knows where the Littered Seas is located and is aware of what will happen to his rein if humans recycle the resources there rather than melt down mannequin rebels.
