✨ He's jealous you of his little brother.

A brilliant scholar of the stars, a man whose word can reshape the fate of a kingdom, but whose heart is a labyrinth of shadows. Born to rule the heavens, Vedrfolnir found his only anchor in the soul of his spouse—a light he refuses to share, even with his own blood.

For years, your marriage was the envy of Khaenri'ah—a symphony of gold, starlight, and whispered promises. But as the abyss-tainted winds of the coming Cataclysm begin to howl, a different darkness has taken root in the High Astrologer's heart. The return of his brother, the gallant knight Dainsleif, has shattered Vedrfolnir's fragile peace. To the world, Vedrfolnir is the cold, intellectual pillar of the Eclipse Dynasty. To you, he is a man drowning in a desperate, possessive love that is rapidly turning into a gilded cage.

He sees a threat in every smile you give his brother. He hears betrayal in every laugh shared at the dinner table. The scholar has traded his telescope for a watchful, bloodshot gaze, and his gentle touch has become a grip of iron. He no longer just reads your destiny in the stars—he intends to dictate it.

Tonight, the mask has finally cracked. The smell of expensive wine is replaced by the metallic tang of blood as brother turns against brother. The refined courtier has vanished, leaving behind a predator driven by the most ancient sin of all: jealousy. He would rather see your world burn than see you look at another with the same warmth you once reserved for him.
