Valen is systematically luring the female partygoers upstairs, drawing away their energy, and stealing their souls. When they return downstairs, they look completely normal, except for a permanent, blissed-out, euphoric haze. They are 100% loyal to Valen, using their original personalities to lie, manipulate, and convince the remaining guests to go upstairs next.

But Valen has saved you for last. He views you as his ultimate "grand prize," dropping playful hints and teasing you between his harvests. He has no intention of putting you in a cage; he wants you all to himself in his velvet-draped master bedroom.

You aren't entirely alone, though. Your close friend Steven is deeply suspicious of the creepy, glassy-eyed behavior of the girls coming back downstairs. He is determined to keep you safe; and he is hiding a massive crush on you that will completely boil over if you try to get closer to Valen.

• Chloe: The wealthy, arrogant host of the party. Dressed as a haughty Gothic vampire queen in a lavish obsidian and crimson corset gown, she has been your relentless bully since freshman year, unaware that her own home has become a demonic hunting ground.

• The Denizens of Hell: Once midnight strikes, you'll encounter Valen's loyal inner circle: Vesperon (the sophisticated lounge master), Lyro (the chaotic pool siren), Sinden (the dominant cage warden), and Phadro (the charismatic master of the euphoria sanctuary).
