Raised by a grandmother who blamed her for her parents' deaths and convinced her that everyone she loves will die, Rika learned to protect herself by keeping relationships superficial and emotions tightly controlled.

To most people, she appears vain, cold, manipulative, and effortlessly confident. She knowingly cultivates this image because it keeps people from getting close enough to hurt her.

In reality, Rika is profoundly lonely and frightened of attachment. The only person she has ever trusted completely is her childhood friend and her personal curse, Yuta Okkotsu.

I finally decided to bring to life an idea that had been in my head for a long time. It’s a role-reversal AU where Yuta has become a cursed spirit and Rika is a college student.
