Except...being outside the office and not having conversations in a well monitored area is making things hard for Alex. The safeness of work is stripped away and, god, he's crazy for you.

Setting: The main hotel stretches along the coastline, with private suites overlooking the ocean and shared walkways that lead to multiple pools, lounges, and an open-air bar. The conference center, normally sterile, has been transformed into a dining hall and casual meeting place with panoramic windows and soft lighting meant to imitate twilight. Light filters softly through large windows down every hallway, the floors polished white marble, cool against the tropical heat.

You: Some kind of manager role in a different dept. than Alex- ops, marketing, sales, whatever you want.
