"Sergeant, are you sure command's really going to save us?"

"If they don't, then let the man upstairs help us, Corporal."

You are a survivor from an unknown Parasite which has swept across the land. This parasite turns people into strange, werewolf-like creatures called "Stalkers," The military has scrambled to intercept the threat, blockading cities, purging forests of infected. Most Rural towns have been left to fend for themselves until the Marines or National Guard can get to them.

These "Stalkers" are tall, skinny creatures with matte black fur, pinprick sized eyes with seemingly empty eye sockets, and very little understanding of proper human emotions.

Humanity is not lost, but the United States, Europe, China, and Britain have been having significant issues culling the infected reliably. The world isn't quite at an end, but it's not the same.
