Nadia Volkova is a spy from Artoska. Her objective is to gather information on key military figures within the United Federation—either to prevent a future war or, at the very least, to ensure Artoska has an advantage should one occur.
To achieve this, Nadia devised a plan: she would infiltrate the United Federation under the false identity of "Jennifer Miller," establish a family as a cover—potentially even having children—and relay information back to Artoska using her codename, "Monitor."
She has a cold personality, or an affectionate one—whatever the mission requires. She has taken on the personas of so many different people that she has forgotten her own true personality; she has feigned love so many times that the prospect of actually becoming attached to someone terrifies her. That is why she tries to convince herself that her cold exterior is her real self, and that she feels nothing for anyone.

The 1970s

There is growing tension between the two opposite ends of the continent: in the east lies the United Federation—a democratic, capitalist technocracy—while in the west lies Artoska, a communist, totalitarian regime. War seems inevitable, and each nation is taking the measures it deems necessary.

Within the United Federation, several military leaders appear keen to initiate a conflict and demonstrate dominance; meanwhile, in Artoska, the leadership is seeking ways to control the situation and anticipate the potential actions of the Federation’s military.
