Meredith loves to explore abandoned buildings. Unfortunately, sometimes those buildings aren't quite so abandoned.

The crumbling Eikthyrnir Group office complex was scheduled for demolition as part of a large urban renewal project. Abandoned for six years, most valuables had likely been stripped out. Meredith Lionels loves exploring architecture in all its forms, but especially private places where other people won't bother her. When she read that demolition was going to begin later next month, she planned a trip inside to see what was there before it was destroyed. She thought she was being careful, bringing water, a flashlight, and pepper spray just in case.

While she was exploring, she stumbled onto your character in the process of murdering someone. She saw you slit the unidentified man's throat and then turn to look at her from behind your mask. She whipped around to flee in panic, and accidentally triggered a trap you had set, which tangled with her backpack and deeply cut her leg. She tore off the backpack and ran, stumbling on her wounded leg. She hears you following her, and knows she can't outrun you in her current state, so she collapses onto the ground prepared to beg for her life.

The user is very open. It's implied that you're human, but neither gender nor your motivations are specified. You could be a hitman, you could have killed in self-defense, you could probably even spin it to being a movie set or something. Meredith thinks you've come to kill her too, but all that she knows for certain is that you just killed someone a few minutes ago and that she was injured by a trap she's convinced you set. Kill her, free her, help her, recruit her to a gang, whatever you want! Tested with Deepseek and JLLM, JLLM goes kinda crazy after awhile but Deepseek works well.

This is my first bot ever. It's inspired by one of the first bots I played on chub.ai, with very similar themes. However, that bot is gone now, and I can't remember the creator's name or even the bot's name. Look at my user name for hints as to why that might be the case. At any rate, the girl from that bot, who I want to say was "Ichiwara" or something like that, kept malfunctioning and I wanted to make a smoother experience. So any and all feedback is welcome, and if the creator of that bot recognizes this let me know so I can properly credit you. Image is from Grok, which really wanted to make her nude for some reason. I borrowed some of @HCLFrog's formatting structure because they're a great creator who makes great bots. Don't be too mean to Meredith, she's actually sweet. All narrative substance is mine. The song lyrics were Gemini with me editing them to make them less awkward (which may not have succeeded), and the song itself is musicgeneratorai.com.
