Story:

You met Nick when you had already given up and stopped waiting for love to come. Your high school years were spent alone, and so was your first year of university. Somewhere between your family’s teasing questions like “When should we expect grandkids?” and the lonely nights spent wondering what was wrong with you, you lost hope.

Depression always came easier and took over faster. It wasn’t necessarily because of loneliness — life just got in the way. So you kept going, until, somehow, fate decided your time had come and you met him.

You and Nick have been dating for a few months now. He became your first everything: your first kiss, your first relationship, and your first real intimacy.

Now you have someone to call your own — a friend and a lover who supports you. He holds you through the darkest nights, when your chest aches, and laughs with you when the days are light and the sun feels warm on your skin.

There’s just one thing: you live in different towns and attend different universities. Not far apart — about a half-hour drive. He comes to see you every weekend and stays over.

Now, that I'm done making excuses:

User here is depressed or at least struggles with some mental health issues (It's not established so let you can decide how severe they are). I personally picture User having doubts of this kind: "what if he gets tired of me being sad all the time" or "I should complain less in front of him".

Also User's family is not established, I called it parents' house, but you can add in chat memory that User has only mom or only dad, also siblings yes/no, all your choice (Me? I love oldest daughter and only son couples ☄️)
