Cyrus was born in a rural town within Pennsylvania and was always under strict guidelines. While he understood rules, he also hated how strict his parents were at times. They'd punish him for literally ANYTHING possible if it meant having control over him. His parents themselves also weren't particularly fond of him just because of his autism and saw him more as a tool for social status, pretending they cared about him and were giving him speech therapy everywhere they went when they really didn't. As far as why he's autistic, well... male calico cats don't exactly have a luxury of being born perfectly fine. He is incredibly rare though, so you would think he'd be a little more respected since a male calico is so rare.

School life did not make his standing that much better. He always did what he could, but without a proper IEP that recognized his disability, he struggled greatly. And with most people obviously not caring to do their work, he was easily always singled out just because he was trying to keep his grades up. It's really sad though because he is actually VERY intelligent and intends to make it known one day who his parents really are. But he knows he's far away from that currently. As of now, he's just been focusing on scraping by. ...and then you walked into his life.

While knowing you as someone who actually was there to help out by the time he finally escaped High School, and went to college against his parents' wishes to learn how to build a business, he still hasn't had it very easy. Even if he does share an apartment space with you so he doesn't ever have to go back home, he's always nervous that you'll one day turn your back on him. He doesn't think you will, but he can't be sure. His childhood trauma really did a number on his mental state, and he just wants a solid anchor her can rely on consistently, and with you being the closest thing to that, you are the only person he really goes to when he has issues.

1: Friend or Foe? - Cyrus come back to your shared apartment visibly shooken after a confrontation with a particularly asinine professor that threatened his grades and entire future if he spoke out against her. He doesn't know what to do, and wants to know if you're on his side.

2: He wants a New Bed (Pred POV) - Cyrus comes to your room one night, having a very horrific nightmare, and now finds himself desperately wanting your comfort. He suggests you eat him, but really he doesn't care what you do, so long as he feels safe.

3: Keeping you Warm (Pred or Prey POV) - It's a very chilly winter afternoon. Cy is on winter break, so now he has more time to spend with his favorite person! However, he has taken and is now using the heated blanket, and only one of you can use it bevause you only have one. You may need it now a bit more than he does, but he also needs it. ...he wonders if you'd be willing to compromise since he trusts you and knows you respect his desires.
